NdotLight, a 3D content technology startup, raises KRW 2.1 billion in Series A follow-on investment

NdotLight, a startup specializing in 3D content technology, has successfully raised KRW 2.1 billion in Series A follow-on investment from Samsung Venture Investment, which includes a portion of its existing shares. This investment comes on the heels of NdotLight’s initial Series A funding of KRW 8 billion earlier in 2023.

NdotLight is currently preparing for the launch of its web-based 3D design service, called “Revolve,” slated for 2023. With the increasing demand for real-time collaboration environments in various industries leveraging 3D technology, NdotLight aims to accelerate the global rollout and expand its presence overseas through Revolve. As a first step, supported by Samsung Electronics’ C-Lab Outside, NdotLight will engage with international customers and partners at Viva Technology 2023, the largest startup event in Europe, held in Paris, France, in June.

The investment manager from Samsung Venture Investment responsible for this funding expressed, “We have high expectations for NdotLight’s exceptional technology and intend to actively support their entry into the global market.”

Kim Sun-tae, co-founder and CTO of NdotLight, stated, “Revolve will revolutionize the 3D design collaboration process by overcoming previous limitations and maximizing productivity through its advanced 3D engine and web service technology.”

Park Jin-young, CEO of NdotLight, added, “This investment holds special significance as it comes after NdotLight’s growth under the nurturing of Samsung Electronics’ C-Lab Outside. We will exert our utmost efforts to thrive in the global market.”
