Korean career women fashion platform Lavim raises funding to expand

Ludencity, the company behind the career women’s fashion platform Lavim, has secured funding from Smilegate Investment and Mashup Angels. Lavim officially launched in October after a beta period and is a vertical fashion commerce platform tailored to career women. It offers a single-page curation of 10 relevant fashion items and personalized content for women in their 40s and 50s, creating an efficient and informative shopping experience.
Ludencity, which received investment prior to the beta test, has plans to expand Lavim into a more comprehensive lifestyle platform for women. Kim Young-min, a managing director at Smilegate Investment, who led the investment, mentioned Ludencity’s effective personalized recommendation algorithm technology, anticipating substantial future growth based on their success during the beta test.
Han Dong-sik, CEO of Ludencity, expressed their mission to improve the inconveniences in the existing fashion commerce landscape. He aims to offer customers a superior shopping experience, especially for those overwhelmed by numerous brands and advertising content. The goal is to become a leading fashion commerce platform in Korea by enhancing the user experience and pursuing collaboration projects with various brands using the secured funds.
