Mashup Angels, a South Korean early-stage investor, announced that it will strengthen its investment and support for global expansion and growth of its portfolio companies by recruiting a number of partners from global technology startups.

Mashup Angels has recruited Park Eun-woo, former CSO of Nearslab, Brian Yoo, former COO of Moloco, and Lee Seung-guk, former CPO of Publy, as investment and value-up partners, respectively.

Park Eun-woo is a software engineer who has successfully invested in startups such as Bucketplace (Today’s Home), Vuno, and Huino at Bon Angels Venture Partners, a venture capital firm. He then joined Nearslab as CSO and led the company’s global expansion to 25 countries after raising KRW 30 billion in investment.

Brian Yoo is a venture partner who has worked at global tech giants such as Google and Kabam. In 2016, he joined Moloco, a unicorn company in Silicon Valley, as an early member. As COO of Moloco, he actively led the company’s growth by overseeing global business strategy and operations, achieving over $250 million in revenue.

Lee Seung-guk is a value-up partner who is a former CPO of FiveJack, a Southeast Asian startup acquired by Bukalapak. He led product development at FiveJack. He then joined Publy as CPO and successfully launched the developer community service “Careerly” and the recruitment SaaS (Software as a Service) solution “Wehire“.
