Klleon Secures 9.5B KRW Series A Funding for Digital Human Tech Expansion

Korean startup Klleon, developing digital humans capable of real-time conversation with just one face photo and 30 seconds of voice, has attracted a Series A investment of 9.5 billion KRW. This round included LB Investment, Samsung Venture Investment, RBW inc, and existing investor Kakao Investment.
This investment, the first since Klleon moved its headquarters from Korea to the U.S. in November 2022, is seen as a recognition of the company’s unparalleled technological competitiveness and expertise in the digital human field.
Kiho Park, the representative of lead investor LB Investment, stated, “Klleon’s technology exceeds the top global levels, and the company has extremely high growth potential.” He expressed his belief that Klleon would become a leading digital human company by launching services based on its technological strength and driving popularization.
Seunghyuk Jin, CEO of Klleon, mentioned plans to accelerate the company’s position as a top firm in the digital human market by recruiting global talents, stating, “With this investment, we plan to unveil global services based on Klleon’s technology and IP in markets including the U.S., Japan, and Southeast Asia.”
Meanwhile, Klleon has partnerships and ongoing research with NVIDIA, Meta, and AWS, and was the only company in the country to be selected as a Gartner Cool Vendor this year.
