MOREH’s ‘MoMo-70B’ Leads Global LLM Ranking with Breakthrough ‘MoAI’ Technology

MOREH, a Korean AI infrastructure solution company, achieved global recognition as its Large Language Model (LLM), named ‘MoMo-70B’, secured the top spot with an impressive score of 77.29 points in the ‘Open LLM Leaderboard’ evaluation conducted by Hugging Face, the world’s largest machine learning platform.
The ‘Open LLM Leaderboard’ serves as a development platform, offering a performance verification window for global AI models. With over 3,400 registered models competing based on six evaluation indicators, including reasoning, common sense ability, and language understanding, the competition is intense.
‘MoMo-70B,’ MOREH’s latest model, with a staggering 70 billion parameters, achieved its first-place ranking on January 17th and has maintained its position since. This remarkable accomplishment was realized in just three months from the initiation of model development to securing the top spot.
MOREH’s success in becoming the world’s No. 1 in the LLM field within such a short timeframe can be attributed to the support of ‘MoAI,’ an AI platform developed and owned by MOREH. Efficient model learning is crucial for the rapid development of top-tier LLMs, and More’s ‘MoAI’ platform facilitates the efficient development and learning of large-scale AI models through advanced parallel processing techniques.
Lim Junghwan, the head of MOREH’s AI Group, emphasized, “This achievement results from the combination of MOREH’s exceptional AI model development capabilities and AI platform technology.” He further explained, “Through ‘MoAI,’ we significantly reduced the time and cost required for the development and learning of large-scale AI models.”
As a key player in the AI semiconductor ecosystem, MOREH, founded in 2020 by CEO Jo Gangwon and other graduates of Seoul National University’s Manycore Programming Research Group, provides AI cloud solutions for enterprises, including AI infrastructure software. MOREH’s solutions are fully compatible with various GPU and NPU resources, such as AMD, in addition to the existing NVIDIA, offering AI operators a broader range of efficient alternatives in terms of cost and time.
In October of the previous year, MOREH garnered attention by securing a Series B round investment of $22 million from KT, AMD, and other investors.
