Kreatorsnetwork, a Korean label service company that offers selective services to artists without requiring exclusive contracts, has secured KRW 3.5 billion in Series A funding. This investment round was led by TS Investment, with participation from KC Investment Partners, KOLON INVESTMENT, and HB Investment.
Explaining the rationale behind this investment, Kreatorsnetwork stated, “As the tastes of music audiences diversify, particularly with the rise of personalized media like YouTube and TikTok, the global music industry’s growth, which was once dominated by large agencies and labels, is now shifting towards mid-tier players.” They added, “Our global artist marketing service ‘Passport Seoul’ and our service brand for independent artists ‘Talented’ have been recognized for their potential to cater to emerging trends like one-person labels and artist independence.”
Kreatorsnetwork intends to use the new funds to strengthen its data-driven growth model and services within the music industry. The company also plans to actively seek out globally competitive mid-tier intellectual property (IP) to enhance its value.
Shin Sang-hyun, CEO of Kreatorsnetwork, said, “We aim to establish a new standard of success in the global music market by leading the discovery and development of competitive mid-tier IP through our data-based decision-making model.”
