Thermoeye Wins CES 2025 Innovation Award for Groundbreaking AI Thermal Camera


Korean AI thermal imaging technology leader Thermoeye announced winning the Innovation Award at CES 2025. The CES Innovation Award, presented by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), is considered the most prestigious recognition for products demonstrating exceptional innovation and technological prowess.

The ‘TMC Edge’ is an AI-based thermal camera applicable across autonomous driving, drone, and robotics sectors. Featuring a high-performan

ce 640×512 (VGA) thermal sensor and an AI chip exceeding 6TOPS, the device is globally recognized as the first thermal camera capable of detecting and measuring objects within 2% accuracy at distances up to 150 meters.

Unlike traditional RGB cameras or LiDAR, the TMC Edge provides stable 24-hour visibility in challenging weather conditions and offers remarkable versatility with its compact size under 2 inches, enabling seamless integration into various hardware systems.

CEO Do-hwi Kim stated, “Winning the CES Innovation Award validates our technological innovation and global competitiveness. We plan to expand our market into mobility sectors, leveraging our thermal imaging expertise developed in semiconductor and battery production processes.”

CES 2025 will be held from January 9-12 in Las Vegas, featuring approximately 3,500 global companies showcasing cutting-edge technologies. Thermoeye plans to exhibit its innovative TMC Edge thermal solution and diverse technological offerings.
