Bitsensing Wins CES 2025 Innovation Award for Revolutionary Smart City Traffic Solution

Advanced radar solution Korean company Bitsensing has been selected as the winner of the Smart Cities category in the CES 2025 Innovation Awards.

The CES Innovation Award is carefully evaluated by a panel of industry experts, assessing entries based on engineering, functionality, design, and originality. The judging process focuses on the product’s ability to perform its intended purpose, visual appeal, user-friendliness, and its distinctiveness and innovation in the market.

The award was announced ahead of CES 2025, with Bitsensing’s TraXight receiving exceptional recognition in the Smart Cities category. CES 2025, the world’s largest technology exhibition, is scheduled to be held from January 7-10 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bitsensing’s TraXight is an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) integrated solution that innovatively addresses urban traffic challenges. Combining cameras, radar, and AI fusion sensors through TIMOS, the solution provides real-time traffic monitoring, traffic big data analysis, key traffic statistics generation, problem diagnosis, and AI simulation-based signal optimization consulting to support smart traffic and smart city development.

This past summer, Bitsensing installed TIMOS sensors at the Porta Nuova intersection in Verona, Italy, as part of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s K-City Network Project. Through this project, the company aims to collect data from complex intersections, resolve traffic congestion issues, and expand its global reach.

Bitsensing CEO Jae-eun Lee stated, “This award demonstrates our continuous innovation in addressing smart city challenges. Through TraXight, we will provide an ITS solution that enhances road safety, reduces traffic congestion, and supports more efficient traffic policy development.”

Additionally, Bitsensing was selected as one of Forbes Asia’s ‘100 Promising Companies’ last August and previously won CES Innovation Awards in 2022 for 4D imaging solutions and in 2020 for traffic monitoring radar.
