Nearthlab Wins CES 2025 Best of Innovation Award for Revolutionary Drone Station

Global AI drone company Nearthlab announced winning the Best of Innovation Award at CES 2025. The award-winning product is the ‘Drone Station for First Responder’, a next-generation drone solution enabling fully autonomous drone operations.

The CES Best of Innovation Award is presented by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) to the highest-scoring product across all categories, evaluating global innovative products based on technology, design, and innovation. By winning this ‘CES highest honor’, Nearthlab has reaffirmed its technological leadership in the global AI drone sector.

The winning product’s key features include unmanned operation and integration with police control systems. Beyond station-based automation, it includes flight permission acquisition capabilities, enabling routine patrols and rapid emergency response. This allows immediate data collection and real-time transmission to command headquarters, enhancing on-site situational response.

The Nearthlab Station automatically replaces and charges batteries after drone missions, features a cooling system to reduce overheated drone temperatures, and includes dust and water-resistant capabilities to support stable operations in harsh weather conditions.

Nearthlab interpreted the award as a re-evaluation of drone stations from mere auxiliary equipment to essential devices for extending drone operation time and expanding operational range.

CEO Jae-hyuk Choi stated, “By focusing on what value we could add to public safety industries rather than just technology, we were able to develop the Drone Station. It’s deeply meaningful to have our efforts recognized with the CES Best of Innovation Award.”

Nearthlab previously won an Innovation Award at CES 2022 for their autonomous flight application ‘NearthWind Mobile’.
