xVic’s ‘PuttingView’ Revolutionizes Golf Training with AI-Powered Putter Sensor
Sports tech startup xVic announced winning an Innovation Award at CES 2025, the world’s largest electronics exhibition in Las Vegas. The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) annually selects groundbreaking technologies, and xVic achieved the remarkable feat of winning an award in the newly established sports category just one year after its founding.

The award-winning ‘PuttingView’ is a unique putter-mounted device featuring an integrated 3D motion sensor and on-device AI algorithm. Its key innovation allows golfers to practice putting anywhere without a practice mat by precisely analyzing putting motion and displaying predicted distance and face angle instantly on an OLED screen.
The device’s patented putting motion analysis algorithm learns multiple variables including putter head weight, shaft length, and green speed. This comprehensive approach provides results similar to practicing in actual environments, making it highly effective for improving amateur golfers’ putting skills.
xVic’s CEO Tae-yeon Kim expressed excitement about using the CES Innovation Award to showcase their technological capabilities globally. He announced plans to enter the massive US market starting with CES 2025, positioning their golf tech product alongside existing innovations.
