Busan Startups Secure CES 2025 Innovation Awards with Cutting-Edge Technologies


The Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (hereinafter Busan CCEI) announced on the 20th that five of its incubated companies will receive CES Innovation Awards at CES 2025 in Las Vegas next January, recognizing their innovative technologies and creativity.

The award-winning companies are TheNextAI, Korea LFP, CIT, Weflow, and New Energy, each recognized for their groundbreaking technologies and products in various industrial sectors.

▲The-NExT.AI (developing a generative AI-based smart digital twin automatic analysis system) won in the Smart City category, ▲Korea LFP (developing a fire prevention system that pre-emptively prevents thermal runaway in secondary lithium battery packs) in the Sustainability, Energy, and Power category, ▲CIT (transparent vehicle antenna) in the Vehicle Technology and Advanced Mobility category, ▲WEFLO (future mobility automated inspection solution) in the Drone category, and ▲New Energy (carbon-reduced heating system) in the Industrial Equipment and Machinery category.

The CES Innovation Awards, selected by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), evaluate companies based on originality, design excellence, and social contribution. The award-winning companies received support through Busan CCEI’s preliminary and early startup package project, global expansion assistance, and CES Innovation Award consulting, enabling them to gain recognition on the world stage. The awarded products will be showcased at CES 2025.

Ju-yeon Song, PM of Busan CCEI, stated, “This award has once again confirmed the potential and competitiveness of our incubated companies,” and added, “We will continue to provide active and diverse support to help these companies grow further on the global stage.”
