Digital Healthcare Partners (DHP), a specialized investment firm focusing on digital healthcare startups, announced on January 2 that five of its portfolio startups will participate in CES 2025, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, from January 7-10. CES is the world’s largest consumer electronics and technology exhibition, where global tech companies and startups gather to showcase their achievements.
The participating startups include mindhub (computerized cognitive rehabilitation solution), Gemgem Therapeutics (AR-based pediatric upper limb rehabilitation solution), Riduck (cycling and aerobic coaching app), Orange Biomed (portable HbA1c measurement device), and Team Elysium (3D sensor-based body measurement). Notably, Team Elysium’s ‘Body.Dot Fitness’ won the CES 2025 Innovation Award in the fitness category for its next-generation AI body analysis system using 3D sensors.
Mindhub provides computerized cognitive and language rehabilitation services for patients with mild cognitive impairment, developmental disabilities, and post-brain disease symptoms. At CES, they will showcase Zenicog, their proprietary cognitive and language rehabilitation program, which includes over 15,000 training content items across 61 categories developed by clinical/rehabilitation experts.
Gemgem Therapeutics offers Gemgem 400, an AR game-based upper limb rehabilitation solution for children with developmental delays. Using machine learning-based motion recognition technology, it enables 40 times more active movements in just 10 minutes daily using only a smartphone.
Riduck provides accessible professional cycling and aerobic exercise coaching services. They’re developing technology to make professional cyclists’ and triathletes’ power meter-based training methods available to amateur enthusiasts. At CES, they’ll showcase their machine learning-based metabolism model.
Orange Biomed is developing ‘OBM rapid A1c,’ a compact medical device using microfluidic technology to measure HbA1c levels at home with a single blood drop. They plan to initially target the U.S. market, where medical accessibility can be challenging.
Team Elysium developed Body.Dot Fitness, a CES 2025 Innovation Award winner that analyzes body shape and muscle condition using 3D sensors. The solution primarily serves fitness and Pilates centers, offering real-time simulation and intuitive body analysis. Visitors can experience Body.Dot Fitness at their CES booth.
DHP CEO Yoon-Sup Choi stated, “DHP portfolio companies are actively entering global markets, including North America,” adding, “We plan to continue investing in digital healthcare startups with global market potential.”
