Channel Corp Gains $8.5M Investment to Advance AI Voice Tech and Global Expansion


Channel Corp, the South Korean company behind the all-in-one AI business messenger Channel Talk, has raised $8.5 million (KRW 11 billion) in funding, bringing its total funding to approximately $39.3 million (KRW 51 billion).  

The funding round was led by existing investor BonAngels Venture Partners, with participation from Laguna Investment and new investor Altos Ventures.  

Channel Talk provides a comprehensive suite of features for customer communication, including AI chatbots, live chat support, CRM marketing, team messaging, VoIP, and video calls. The platform is currently used by over 180,000 businesses across various industries, such as fashion, beauty, and travel. Its AI agent, ALF, has gained significant traction, with over 1,000 companies adopting it within two months of its launch, demonstrating stable growth.  

With this funding, Channel Corp plans to develop Voice ALF, an AI solution capable of handling customer inquiries through voice interaction, as part of its focus on advancing AI-driven customer support technologies. The company aims to establish itself as a versatile AI business messenger for small, medium, and large enterprises.  

In Japan, Channel Corp has secured 20,000 clients, including major companies such as Adastria and United Arrows, reflecting steady growth. Operating in 22 countries, the company now generates 25% of its revenue from global markets. To further expand its international presence, Channel Corp established a U.S. subsidiary in 2022 and plans to continue its focus on global market growth this year.
