Yanolja Cloud Drives Digital Innovation in the Middle Eastern Travel Market

Korea’s travel tech company, Yanolja Cloud, is strengthening its collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s tourism industry following the Davos Forum, accelerating digital innovation in the Middle Eastern travel market.

Last month, during the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, Yanolja Cloud participated as a panelist in the official “Saudi House” session. At the session, Yanolja Cloud CEO Jongyoon Kim shared insights on how the company’s global travel-specialized vertical AI technology can drive innovation in the Middle Eastern travel industry. The company also took meaningful steps to deepen its partnerships with local governments and businesses, yielding tangible results.

Currently, Yanolja Cloud provides solutions to over 200 countries worldwide and has been steadily expanding its presence, particularly in emerging markets such as the Middle East, Africa, and South America, in addition to North America and Europe. The Middle East accounts for approximately 5% of the global transaction volume and saw a 21% year-on-year growth as of the third quarter of last year. Notably, Saudi Arabia and Jordan have experienced particularly strong growth, with increases of around 50%. As Middle Eastern nations actively pursue digital transformation to develop large-scale tourism industries, Yanolja Cloud is rapidly expanding its market reach by continuously supplying its proprietary B2B solutions.

While tourism demand in the Middle East remains somewhat constrained due to geopolitical factors and regional conflicts, market experts predict that the industry will experience rapid growth once stability is restored. In anticipation of these changes, Yanolja Cloud is proactively strengthening its position in the region, focusing on transaction solutions to solidify its presence in the Middle Eastern travel sector. The company also plans to expand strategic partnerships with local businesses, increasing the adoption of its vertical AI solutions and services to accelerate digital transformation for local travel operators.

Jongyoon Kim, CEO of Yanolja Cloud, stated, “The Middle East is emerging as a key growth engine for the global tourism industry, rapidly adopting AI and digital technologies to drive innovation across the sector, backed by strong capital investment.” He added, “Leveraging our vertical AI services and network, Yanolja Cloud is committed to supporting the growth of the Middle Eastern travel industry while building an AI-driven ecosystem within the global travel sector through technology and data-driven collaborations with travel businesses worldwide.”
