Korea’s fabless AI semiconductor company, Rebellions, announced on the 10th that it will participate as a speaker representing Aramco’s partner companies at LEAP 2025, the largest tech conference in the Middle East. Through this event, Rebellions aims to reinforce its presence as an AI infrastructure company selected by Aramco, engage with Saudi Arabia’s IT ecosystem, and accelerate its expansion into the Middle Eastern market.

Rebellions CEO Sung Hyun Park is scheduled to speak at two key sessions during the event, which runs from February 9 to 12 (local time). On February 9, he participated in the panel discussion “Billion-Dollar Bridges: How Unicorns and Their VCs Navigate the Path to Global Success,” where he shared insights into Rebellions’ growth strategy as an AI semiconductor unicorn. On February 11, he will present the company’s vision for the Saudi market at the Tech Arena Session.
During the unicorn panel, Park stated, “With DeepSeek’s recent open-source model announcement, AI cost efficiency has become a major focus, and we have been preparing for this market shift in advance. The key to a startup’s success lies in strategic partnerships, and Rebellions is realizing this through Aramco’s investment. With our strong relationship, we expect to achieve meaningful milestones in Saudi data centers soon.”
Rebellions was selected as one of the top four performing companies among more than 50 portfolio companies of Wa’ed Ventures, Aramco’s corporate venture capital arm. As a result, the company will present at the Tech Arena Session on February 11, where Park will outline Rebellions’ business vision and strategic direction for Saudi Arabia.
Following its milestone as the first Korean startup to secure strategic investment from Aramco last year, Rebellions recently supplied rack-based products to Aramco’s data centers and is now accelerating large-scale commercialization efforts. In the first half of this year, the company also plans to establish its Saudi subsidiary, further expanding its footprint in the region.
Park commented, “At this event, it became clear that Saudi Arabia is embracing the AI era more actively than any other country. Given the importance of close relationships and direct communication in this market, Rebellions is pursuing a differentiated localization strategy through strategic partnerships. As a leading AI infrastructure company bridging Korea and Saudi Arabia, we will continue to foster diverse collaborations and business opportunities.”
