Doers Raises $7.1M USD in Series A for Affiliate Platform ZVZO

Doers Corp., the operator of “ZVZO,” a Korean platform connecting influencers and brands, has secured 10 billion KRW ($7.14 million USD) in a Series A funding round.

The round saw follow-on investments from existing institutional venture capital firms Bass Ventures, Korea Investment Partners, and Fast Ventures, with new investors Murex Partners and IMM Investment joining in.

Founded in November 2023 by Ji-hyun Won, former co-founder and COO of Watcha, and Yu-jun Kim, former CTO of Ably, Doers Corp. raised seed funding just three weeks after its inception. Six months later, in May 2024, it launched ZVZO and completed a pre-Series A round. ZVZO has since seen transaction volumes grow by over 10% weekly, nearing monthly break-even point (BEP) profitability, proving its viability and leading to this Series A raise of $7.14 million USD (10 billion KRW) within eight months of launch.

Achieving unusually rapid growth within its first year, Doers Corp. eschews conventional startup strategies, embracing a philosophy of absolute speed—eliminating anything that hinders progress—and a hard-working culture where all team members fully immerse themselves in ensuring the success of creators and brands. This bold, relentless execution has driven results, boosting the company’s valuation over tenfold since its seed round a year ago, with investors proactively joining all three funding rounds.

Hyung-jun Yang, a director at Bass Ventures who led this round, said, “As media fragments, creators’ influence in commerce is becoming increasingly vital. Doers Corp. focuses solely on what brands, creators, and customers want, delivering results with overwhelming execution. We’re confident they’ll succeed in category and global expansion, prompting us to lead this round despite a tough investment climate.” Doers Corp., currently a lean team of experts, will use this funding to aggressively hire across development, business, data, design, finance, merchandising, and product roles.

ZVZO is a marketing platform that enables brands and distributors to collaborate directly with creators or their managers for affiliate marketing, driving sales. It simplifies influencer marketing—previously hard to measure and labor-intensive—making it fast, easy, and instantly measurable. From 20 clients at launch, ZVZO now serves around 400, just eight months later.

Through ZVZO, creators promote recommended products to followers on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Naver, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Threads, earning revenue from brands. They can also offer exclusive discounts to followers effortlessly. Top creators on ZVZO generate tens of millions of KRW (tens of thousands USD) per post monthly, with some driving sales exceeding $710,000 USD (1 billion KRW). Brands can track real-time data on how effectively creators promote their products, paying commissions based on actual sales.

Doers Corp. will use this investment to enhance the platform, accelerate growth, and push for overseas expansion and category diversification. It aims to connect Korean brands like K-beauty and K-fashion with international creators to boost overseas sales while expanding domestically beyond beauty and fashion into all e-commerce categories.

Ji-hyun Won, CEO of Doers Corp., said, “As consumption pivots around creators, ZVZO stands at the heart of this shift. It creates a win-win for creators, brands, and customers, and we’ll do everything to help the creators driving the commerce scene grow and succeed.”
