COVERSOMEONE Secures 3.5 million USD to Enhance Lifestyle Fashion Technology
Korean lifestyle fashion-tech company COVERSOMEONE has secured 5 billion KRW(about 3.75 million USD) in Series A funding from InterVest, JS Corporation, Big Move Ventures, and Mark420. With this latest investment, the company’s total funding has now reached 7.5 million USD (10 billion KRW).

COVERSOMEONE specializes in researching and developing sustainable textile materials, boasting key technologies such as:
- Air Tech, which uses air as a filling material
- Heating Tech, which generates heat without wires
- UV Color Change, which alters color in response to ultraviolet light
Since its founding in 2017, COVERSOMEONE has registered or applied for 25 domestic and international patents and holds 215 design and trademark intellectual property rights.
Recently, the company has expanded its reach beyond South Korea into the U.S., Japan, China, and Europe through collaborations with Itochu Corporation, JS Corporation, Yakjin Trading, and UBASE. Its major clients include Balenciaga, 3.PARADIS, Post Archive Faction (PAF), Descente, LTEKS, K2, and Nepa.
COVERSOMEONE also operates the fashion brand KEEK, best known for its signature product Pillowdy, a hybrid of a pillow and a hood. The brand is actively expanding its offline distribution channels through airport duty-free stores and department store pop-ups.
With this Series A funding, COVERSOMEONE plans to establish an R&D center and a smart factory within the year. The company also aims to build a foundation for an intellectual property (IP) licensing business in smart fabric technology, enhancing its technological competitiveness while accelerating its global expansion.
