Cloudike, a South Korean provider of cloud file sharing and synchronization services, has raised $2.7 million (KRW 3.7 billion) in funding from Naver Cloud, NVC, and the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency. The investment will be primarily used for business expansion and R&D to develop AI SaaS solutions tailored for the media industry.
With this funding, Cloudike aims to further strengthen its position in the cloud storage and AI SaaS markets.
“The startup investment environment has been challenging, and it took a long time to close this funding round,” said Sunwoong Lee, CEO of Cloudike. “We plan to enhance our technology and introduce next-generation AI SaaS products that meet the needs of the media industry.”
Cloudike is at the forefront of enterprise cloud storage innovation, offering solutions that integrate seamlessly with Naver Works and other business platforms. It was also the first company to obtain CSAP cloud security certification in the public sector.
Currently, companies like Nexon Korea, CJ, and HK inno.N have implemented Cloudike’s enterprise storage solutions on-premises. Additionally, more than 700 SMEs in industries such as video production, manufacturing, and construction are using Cloudike’s enterprise SaaS solution on a subscription basis. Internationally, the service is offered under the brand CloudSME through Telkomsigma in Indonesia.
