BHSN Secures USD 7.5 million in Series B for Legal AI Solution Allibee

South Korea’s BHSN, the operator of the business legal AI solution ‘allibee,’ has successfully secured USD 7.5 million (KRW 10 billion) in Series B funding. The investment round saw participation from existing investor Altos Ventures, alongside new investors Korea Development Bank and Woori Financial Capital. With this latest funding, BHSN’s total accumulated investment has reached KRW 16 billion(approximately USD 12 million).

Founded in 2020, BHSN has developed and provides allibee, a business legal AI solution equipped with proprietary Legal-LLM (Legal Large Language Model), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and patented Legal OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology designed specifically for digitizing legal documents.

Allibee offers three key services: a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution for comprehensive contract management, an Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) solution integrating legal advisory and litigation management, and a Business Agent Solution for conducting legal and business research. These services are available through Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or on-premise deployment.

Notably, allibee features a domestically developed AI-powered contract engine, the only one of its kind in South Korea. This engine enables the rapid and accurate analysis and review of complex legal documents such as contracts and legal opinions within seconds. Additionally, its AI search engine is optimized for retrieving government policy documents and internal corporate reports.

By providing reliable insights for decision-making and identifying potential risks in advance, allibee has proven particularly useful for legal and compliance teams. Moreover, it enhances operational efficiency across management, human resources, business development, and sales functions.

Allibee has already been adopted by major South Korean conglomerates, including CJ CheilJedang, Hanwha Solutions, and Aekyung Chemical. BHSN is also in the process of signing new agreements with companies in the pharmaceutical and retail sectors, aiming for service implementation within the year.

With the fresh capital, BHSN plans to further enhance its proprietary legal AI technology and expand marketing initiatives to strengthen allibee’s brand and technological leadership. Additionally, the company will focus on global expansion, particularly targeting the Asian market, starting with Japan where its overseas subsidiary is located. BHSN also aims to collaborate with government agencies and public institutions through allibee’s Business Agent Solution, which is optimized for legal and precedent research.

An Altos Ventures representative stated, “BHSN offers a solution that significantly enhances corporate productivity and operational efficiency through its specialized legal AI technology. With its established client base among South Korean conglomerates and the planned expansion into the Japanese market, we recognize strong growth potential and are pleased to continue our investment.”

Jung-Geun Lim, CEO of BHSN, commented, “As businesses adapt to the AI transformation era (AX era), there is a growing interest in business legal AI solutions like allibee. This successful funding round validates allibee’s effectiveness, and we are committed to further strengthening our technological differentiation and global competitiveness.”
