WonderWeeks Company Secures $3.6M Series A for Enhancing Parenting Lifestyle Platform


WonderWeeks Company, a South Korean parenting tech startup that operates the child-rearing platform mommom, has raised approximately USD 3.6 million(KRW 5 billion) in a Series A funding round. The investment was jointly led by Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance and the Korea Development Bank.

The round was closed at a higher valuation compared to the previous funding stage, reflecting growing investor confidence in mommom’s growth potential and WonderWeeks Company’s position in the market.

‘mommom’ is a leading parenting lifestyle platform in South Korea, offering curated information for parents raising young children—ranging from family-friendly activities and experiences to childcare products and kid-friendly accommodations. The service is known for its user-centric interface and practical content, which have driven rapid user base growth.

With this latest funding, the company plans to accelerate product development and expand its service offerings to further strengthen its foothold in the childcare tech sector.

Founded in March 2021, WonderWeeks Company has raised a total of approximately around USD 5.8 million(KRW 8 billion) to date, including this Series A round.
