The Invention Lab Successfully Hosts VKSEN 2025 Networking Event in Vietnam

The Invention Lab, a Korean startup accelerator, announced that it successfully hosted the ‘VKSEN 2025’ networking event for startup entrepreneurs and investors in Vietnam.

The event took place at “Cloud 12,” the rooftop venue of Oakwood Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting over 50 attendees, including Korean entrepreneurs active in Vietnam, investors, government officials, and business leaders. Over approximately three hours, participants shared their business experiences in Vietnam and explored opportunities for mutual collaboration, actively building professional networks. The event provided professional investors seeking to fund Korean startups in Vietnam with opportunities to identify promising ventures and develop practical investment strategies.

VKSEN, initiated in 2019 by The Invention Lab as a gathering for CEOs of Korean startups in Vietnam that received its early investments, holds regular meetings at least twice a year. Since 2023, the event has been co-hosted with C Labs, a Vietnam-based marketing firm.

VKSEN 2025 was designed to create tangible business opportunities beyond mere socializing and networking, featuring diverse programs such as 30-second self-introductions, keynote speeches by prominent figures, and prize giveaways. Sponsors, including Insaeng Vitamin, Homme Zet, and SIMPLECARRY, provided attendees with various souvenirs and vouchers.

Despite the global economic downturn, Vietnam achieved a 7% economic growth rate in 2024, highlighting its potential as a vibrant market. The rapid expansion of the e-commerce sector post-COVID pandemic has fueled significant growth in the consumer market. Vietnamese consumers show a strong and growing preference for Korean beauty, fashion, and food brands, which are leading their respective markets.

Jin-young Kim, CEO of The Invention Lab, stated, “We extend our heartfelt respect and admiration to Korean entrepreneurs who have persevered through the COVID pandemic to pioneer the Vietnamese market. The Invention Lab will actively connect its global network of investors, government entities, and conglomerates to Korean entrepreneurs in Vietnam to create new opportunities.”
