Korean startup ResetCompany, which develops waste panel recycling robots and cleaning robots, has secured approximately 3.6 million USD(5 billion KRW) in Series B funding. The investment round was led by POSCO Investment, with participation from GS Ventures of the GS Group, Ascendo Ventures, and BeHigh Investment, bringing ResetCompany’s cumulative funding to over 7.14 million USD(10 billion KRW).
ResetCompany has successfully entered the domestic and Japanese markets with its resource circulation robot, RESET ROBOTICS, designed for the waste panel recycling industry. The company has established Korea’s first waste panel recycling center, processing 1,000 tons of waste panels annually to sell materials such as aluminum, tempered glass, polysilicon, copper, and silver, while promoting a sustainable energy business.
RESET ROBOTICS dismantles waste panels—unmanageable by human labor—into aluminum frames, tempered glass, and solar cells, recovering valuable materials. The robot enables the annual recovery of 150 tons of aluminum and 900 tons of tempered glass, with investment recovery projected within two to three years.
Additionally, ResetCompany recovers polysilicon from separated solar cells and extracts silver in nanoparticle sizes using its proprietary laser technology, enhancing the value of the silver material.
With this investment, ResetCompany plans to advance its resource circulation robot technology, construct a manufacturing plant, and establish Korea’s first nanoparticle extraction laser research center. The company aims to address the global waste panel disposal issue through automated robot technology and expand its market dominance by enhancing the resource circulation business with reusable materials.
