Casual Game Developer ACTIONFIT Secures Series A Investment, Totaling USD 5.37 million

Korean casual game developer and publisher ACTIONFIT announced that it has secured Series A investment. The investment amount was not disclosed.

This investment, led by Kolon Investment and joined by Kona Venture Partners, Korea Omega Investment, and Translink Investment, has finalized ACTIONFIT’s cumulative investment attraction of USD 5.37 million (KRW 7.4 billion).

Through this, ACTIONFIT plans to expand its publishing business, broaden its casual game development pipeline, and establish a foundation for continuous growth and a virtuous cycle structure, thereby continuing its business expansion.

Established in March 2020, ACTIONFIT is a startup that develops and publishes mobile casual games targeting domestic and international users. Over 80% of its revenue comes from overseas markets, primarily the United States, Japan, and Europe. It is targeting the global mobile market by analyzing rapidly changing global casual game content trends and producing and publishing simple yet immersive games.

In particular, ACTIONFIT’s founder and CEO, Inhoo Park, is an ad-tech and marketing expert who has worked at Incross and AdColony. He possesses expertise in user acquisition and global game business know-how in the increasingly competitive mobile marketing market.

ACTIONFIT launched its first game through publishing immediately after its establishment and has since successfully launched numerous casual games globally, achieving continuous annual revenue growth. Cumulatively, it has achieved over USD 29.07 million (KRW 40 billion) in revenue and over 30 million downloads. In addition to its publishing business, it expanded into in-house development starting last year, 2024, and achieved its highest revenue last year, demonstrating its capabilities not only in publishing and marketing but also in in-house game development.

The global mobile casual game market is continuously growing each year, with a significant increase in advertising revenue driving market growth. In particular, the ‘hybrid casual’ game genre, which generates revenue through an appropriate balance of in-app and advertising revenue, is experiencing rapid global growth.

CEO Inhoo Park stated, “The global casual market is largely dominated by European companies, centered in Turkey, and Vietnamese and Chinese companies. Based on Korea’s excellent game development capabilities and enhanced marketing capabilities at the level of a global publisher, we will grow together with various domestic developers and partners to revitalize the domestic casual game ecosystem.”
