AI Presentation Generation Service ‘Snapdeck’ Secures Seed Investment from Korea Investment Accelerator
Askitmore, a Korean startup that developed the AI presentation automation solution ‘Snapdeck,’ announced on the 23rd that it has secured seed investment from Korea Investment Accelerator. The investment amount was not disclosed.
Snapdeck is a SaaS product that utilizes large language models (LLM) to automatically generate web-based slides from user-inputted presentation content. It differentiates itself from existing products by maintaining a consistent theme throughout the slides while allowing natural language-based modifications in the user’s desired direction.
Existing similar services generate slides individually based on prompts, making it difficult to maintain a consistent tone and manner, and design modification flexibility is also limited. In contrast, Snapdeck automatically arranges components written in web markup (HTML/CSS) to create structured slides within a single theme. It also provides a presenter-centric document editing experience through vector generation models and natural language instruction-based modification functions. The company is introducing a differentiated product compared to competitors by leveraging developer-friendly features such as JavaScript library calls, code block highlighting and execution, and Git-like version control.
Seongmun Lee, team leader at Korea Investment Accelerator, who led the investment, stated, “The Snapdeck team possesses fast execution capabilities, clear market insights, and technology-based differentiation simultaneously. The technical foundation to solve real user pain points in the global presentation market and the team’s hustle were very impressive.”
Minkyu Lee, CEO of Askitmore, stated, “While there is Gamma, which achieved an annual recurring revenue of USD 100 million (134.4 billion KRW) in just two years after its founding, we believe there are clear market problems that we can solve. Our team’s goal is to become the ‘Cursor’ of presentations.”
Snapdeck is currently providing its service through a Figma plugin, with an official launch scheduled for September. Based on this investment, the company plans to focus on advancing its AI model, building server infrastructure, and recruiting key personnel for product enhancement.
