AM Management, an AI Quant Investment Firm, Attracts Investment from Woori Financial Group

AM Management, a Korean AI-based quant solution company, announced that it has attracted investment from Woori Financial Group‘s startup investment fund, ‘DINNOlab Fund.’ The amount was undisclosed.

Woori Financial Group is expanding cooperation with promising startups that will lead digital innovation and the future financial new industry through the DINNOlab Fund. This investment was made to accelerate the group-wide strategy of ‘convergence of finance and digital assets,’ with AM Management’s stable track record and high growth in the global market being the main reasons.

This investment is a follow-up to AM Management’s selection for the first class of Woori Financial Group’s startup incubation program, ‘DINNOlab B Center.’ At that time, AM Management proved its technological prowess by being the only company selected in the digital asset quant solution field, and with this investment, it will solidify its strategic partnership with Woori Financial Group.

With this investment, AM Management plans to strengthen its collaboration models with financial institutions both domestically and internationally. It will expand the supply of API-based solutions and technical support to enable traditional financial institutions such as banks and securities firms to establish their own digital asset investment and operation systems, and accelerate the expansion of global institutional clients, focusing on Japan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

AM Management has developed a unique AI-based quant solution that allows financial institutions to provide operational strategies via API without directly holding customer assets. It is characterized by securing both stability and transparency by applying algorithms that learn market data in real-time.

The company is achieving excellent results in cooperation with global virtual asset exchanges such as OKX and Bybit. In particular, it consistently operates top-performing strategies based on profitability in the OKX bot marketplace, and previously attracted investment from J-CAM, a Japanese digital asset management company, achieving tangible results such as exceeding a cumulative local usage of USD 147 million (200 billion KRW).

Ho-jung Kim, CEO of AM Management, said, “I am very pleased to have been recognized for our growth potential through the Woori Financial Group DINNOlab program and to attract follow-up investment.” He added, “This investment is a meaningful case where the stability and technological prowess of our non-custodial AI quant solution have once again been recognized by the traditional financial sector. With this as momentum, we will strengthen cooperation with domestic financial institutions and move into the global market to present a new standard for digital asset management.”
