Korea-based generative AI security company eRoun&Company has raised approximately USD 1.4 million(KRW 2 billion) in a Pre-Series A round from KB Investment.

A representative from KB Investment, which led the round as the sole investor, commented, “With the rapid proliferation of generative AI adoption, information leakage and uncontrolled AI usage have emerged as critical priorities for enterprises. We expect eRoun&Company to lead the market with its differentiated governance solution that provides integrated functionality from AI usage control to real-time security and audit trails.”

eRoun&Company’s flagship solution, SAIFE X, is an integrated governance platform enabling the safe use of AI by public institutions and enterprises. It manages access to only company-approved AI tools, maximizing operational productivity while simultaneously detecting and blocking personal and confidential information in real time through prompt security technology.

The platform provides comprehensive monitoring and audit trail capabilities for all AI usage history, ensuring powerful security visibility. It is currently in production use across various industries — including retail, higher education, and IT security — and is highly regarded by clients for its technical maturity and practical effectiveness.
