SlogK Secures Seed-Bridge Funding to Expand AI-Powered Global Retail Platform DANAYAD

SlogK, a Korean global distribution platform startup that helps local brands expand overseas, has secured seed-bridge round funding from MYSC and Daegu Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Daegu CCEI). The investment underscores growing confidence in DANAYAD, an AI-powered global O2O platform designed to help Korean consumer goods companies and small businesses compete in overseas markets.

Since launching in 2022, SlogK has worked toward its vision of “connecting Korean consumer goods to the world through AI.” The company built an integrated platform that lets domestic small and medium brands test and sell products in the European market. Its O2O model combines the online DANAYAD platform with physical retail spaces—an anchor store and pop-up locations in Paris—allowing brands to quickly gauge real market reactions in Europe.

Rather than simply connecting products with buyers, SlogK uses AI-driven consumer preference analysis to match Korean brands with the right European customers. The platform analyzes consumer preferences, purchasing patterns, and style trends to show products to the most receptive audiences. This data-driven approach cuts down on early-stage trial and error while keeping marketing costs in check. SlogK’s Paris store validated the model’s effectiveness—over 26 days starting in September, domestic fashion brands drew more than 4,500 visitors and generated over $68,000 (100 million KRW) in sales.

SlogK has also earned recognition as a platform that helps regional small businesses expand globally by working with government programs like the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ “Strong Small Business Global Festa,” Daegu CCEI’s Global Startup Development Program, and Gyeongbuk CCEI’s Global Development Program. By tackling persistent challenges like information gaps and high entry costs through technology, data, and on-the-ground retail presence, SlogK aligns policy goals with real business needs.

With the new funding, SlogK plans to upgrade the DANAYAD platform and expand globally. The company will solidify its presence in Europe while pushing into key consumer markets like New York, London, and Berlin to build a global retail network. SlogK also intends to turn DANAYAD’s accumulated data into a commercial AI retail SaaS solution, targeting distribution and retail companies in Europe and the U.S. for B2B growth.

Youngwoo Kim, Investment Planning Team Leader at MYSC, said, “SlogK goes beyond export facilitation—it’s building technology-driven global distribution infrastructure. The company shows strong growth potential and scalability by creating the local market structures and ecosystems Korean brands need to thrive internationally.”

Hojin Ra, CEO of SlogK, stated, “SlogK’s goal is to create technology-based infrastructure so that Korean small businesses and domestic brands can receive fair evaluation and grow in the global market. With this investment, we will further advance the DANAYAD platform and support more brands in finding opportunities in overseas markets.”

Since 2022, SlogK has achieved active entrepreneurial success both domestically and internationally, including excellent evaluation in the 2022 Pre-Startup Package, outstanding graduation from the 2024 Youth Startup Academy (14th batch), selection for entry to KSC Paris (Director Yang Ji-ae) and France’s Station F by the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, participation in the HEC Paris Incubateur program, TIPS selection, entry to Daegu Scale-up Hub (DASH), and selection as Korea Credit Guarantee Fund’s “Little Penguin.”
