ORBITERS Secures Series A Funding to Expand Global K-Kids Brand Operations

ORBITERS, a Korean startup specializing in global expansion of Korean kids brands, has secured over $2.04 million (3 billion KRW) in Series A funding from Hana Ventures and Lotte Ventures. The company is experiencing rapid growth through its full-integration export model, which goes beyond simple export support or solution provision to directly handle the entire process from initial branding and marketing to sales and retail operations in the US market.

ORBITERS secures high-quality products through partnerships with top-tier domestic brands such as Gromimi, Cha&Mom, and Alfrémio. The company accumulates reviews, conversion rates, and customer data through D2C sales on platforms like Amazon and its own online stores in the US, Canada, and Japan. This data then serves as the foundation for expanding sales to major marketplaces like Target Plus and Walmart.com, as well as offline B2B channels.

By handling everything in-house—from initial branding, content creation, influencer collaboration, performance advertising to software development—the company maximizes speed and efficiency. The brand recognition built in the US creates a win-win loop effect that spreads to Korean and global markets.

Through ORBITOOL, the company’s proprietary integrated operating system, ORBITERS manages every stage with data-driven operations, including margin analysis, inventory and order optimization, export automation, and advertising performance. This approach has resulted in exceptional productivity: an average annual growth of 70% over the past three years and average annual revenue per employee exceeding $952,000 (1.4 billion KRW).

ORBITERS plans to use this investment to strengthen social media-based marketing in the US, Canada, and Japan markets while accelerating growth across D2C and B2B channels. The company also intends to pursue long-term growth strategies including expanding equity partnerships with partner brands and direct acquisition of key brands.

The leadership structure has been strengthened as well. Wonjoon Choi, CEO and former executive at Skylake Investment and Macquarie PE, oversees strategy, finance, and partnerships. Minjae Lee, COO with experience at NSB and as a National Assembly aide, leads operations in Korea, the US, and Japan. Byungju Ahn, CMO who previously worked at Blank Corporation and 2020, joined ORBITERS to lead global marketing, content, and influencer strategies.

An investor representative commented, “ORBITERS is an execution-focused company that vertically integrates and operates every stage from product procurement to global expansion. We decided to invest based on our high evaluation of their data-driven growth and efficiency.”

Wonjoon Choi, CEO of ORBITERS, stated, “ORBITERS is an organization that directly creates global brand growth by combining Korea’s product excellence with our team’s execution capabilities. We aim to rapidly expand our market share in North America and Japan with a target of achieving $204 million (300 billion KRW) in revenue by 2026.”
