SaveTheFarms Secures Seed Funding to Advance Organic Waste-to-Resource Technology

Korean green biotech startup SaveTheFarms has secured undisclosed seed funding through Infobank‘s “Future Environmental Innovation Technology Fund.” The company has also been selected for the TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startup Korea) program with Kingo Spring as its recommender.

SaveTheFarms develops technology that transforms organic waste and agricultural byproducts into biochar and eco-friendly resources. The startup plans to use the investment to advance its waste-to-resource conversion technology and expand its green business operations.

Moving beyond traditional waste disposal methods, SaveTheFarms converts organic waste—including agricultural byproducts, livestock manure, and marine waste—into high-functionality fertilizers, feed, and bio-materials. The company provides sustainable solutions that support soil health recovery and carbon reduction. The startup is rapidly expanding its market presence, particularly among companies and organizations focused on sustainable agriculture, carbon neutrality, and circular economy solutions.

The investment reflects strong confidence in SaveTheFarms’ technological capabilities and environmental innovation potential. The company is expected to accelerate both the commercialization of its waste-to-resource technology and its entry into global markets.

Infobank is an early-stage venture capital firm that invested in 83 companies totaling approximately $14.2 million USD(20.9 billion KRW) in 2024, while achieving an impressive 17x return by exiting six companies with approximately $6 million USD(8.9 billion KRW) in recoveries. As a TIPS operating organization, the firm has identified 60 promising startups and received a commendation from the Minister of SMEs and Startups, demonstrating its strong track record in startup development.

A SaveTheFarms representative said, “With this seed investment as a foundation, we will advance our waste-to-resource conversion technology and biochar and eco-friendly solutions. We aim to expand our business so that more customers in the agriculture and environmental sectors can utilize resources in sustainable ways.”
