INTEGRATION, an integrated operations platform for traditional Korean medicine clinics, has completed a $18.5 million (27.5 billion KRW) funding round. The round was led by Altos Ventures with participation from TBT Partners.

Founded in 2019 by CEO Hee-beom Jung to facilitate information sharing and collaboration among healthcare professionals, INTEGRATION operates “Medistream,” a community platform for traditional Korean medicine practitioners. Medistream has become the leading platform with over 85% of registered Korean medicine doctors in Korea, with approximately 23,700 active members. Building on this foundation, the company has expanded into clinic-specialized commerce, traditional medicine brands, EMR, and CRM services, aiming to revolutionize clinic management structures and advance K-traditional medicine globally.
Korea’s traditional medicine clinic and hospital market is valued at approximately $5.4 billion (8 trillion KRW), with 96 million patient visits annually, making it a core pillar of Korean healthcare. However, most of the approximately 15,000 clinics, excluding some larger hospitals, operate individually, with practitioners spending significant time on non-clinical tasks such as distribution, marketing, and patient management. Integration focuses on increasing operational efficiency in these areas, enabling practitioners to concentrate more on patient care while increasing revenue.
INTEGRATION currently pursues infrastructure modernization through specialized commerce for medical devices and supplies, traditional medicine brands (Su, Lin Diet, Acurex), and EMR/CRM program development. The brand business represents Integration’s differentiated growth engine, achieving $30.6 million (45.4 billion KRW) in revenue in 2024, a 73% year-over-year increase. The company has built a model that delivers high-quality herbal medicines and treatments to consumers through clinic networks and plans to expand into global markets.
“INTEGRATION is a company with unparalleled community presence, distribution competitiveness, and brand creation capabilities in the fragmented traditional medicine clinic market,” said an Altos Ventures representative. “We decided to invest based on the platform’s value in contributing to real improvements for practitioners, the trust built in the brand, and our high regard for CEO Hee-beom Jung’s leadership and team capabilities.”
Hee-beom Jung, CEO of INTEGRATION, said, “Our mission for this round is to create an environment where practitioners can provide excellent care and build a popularized Traditional Medicine Brand representing Korea for global expansion. Through this investment, we will standardize infrastructure improvements across the traditional medicine sector, accelerate global market entry based on our representative brand, and grow with an even bigger mission.”
