Korean startup MOBILTECH has closed a $8.9 million (13 billion KRW) Pre-IPO round, attracting major institutional investors including Stonebridge Ventures, SBI Investment, Leading Ace Capital & Fave Ventures, and IBK(Industrial Bank of Korea). The investment validates MOBILTECH’s technology and growth potential as it transitions from digital twin solutions to Physical AI infrastructure.

The company is pioneering the shift from digital twins to Physical AI, technology that enables robots, autonomous vehicles, and other physical entities to understand and interact with the real world. MOBILTECH positions itself as “The Ground Truth Provider,” delivering high-precision virtual environments essential for Physical AI development by minimizing the gap between reality and simulation.
MOBILTECH has built a unique pipeline connecting digital twins and Physical AI based on OpenUSD (Universal Scene Description), the global industry standard. This infrastructure has already attracted partnerships with major corporations including NVIDIA and Hyundai Motor, to whom the company provides Physical AI and generative model solutions.
The fresh capital will be deployed across three strategic areas: R&D investment to enhance Physical AI models, AI infrastructure expansion for large-scale data processing, and accelerated market entry into North America and other global markets. MOBILTECH has entered the formal listing process targeting a 2026 KOSDAQ debut, aiming to leverage its technology and global references to achieve a technology special listing as “the world’s leading Physical AI environment provider.”
“This investment reaffirms MOBILTECH’s technological edge and business value in the Physical AI market,” said Jaeseung Kim, CEO of MOBILTECH. “With these resources, we will establish an overwhelming technology gap to dominate the market, strengthen collaboration with global enterprises, and position ourselves as the core standard in the Physical AI ecosystem.”
