Labrador Labs Raises $9.67M Series B to Push into North American Software Supply Chain Security Market

Labrador Labs, a South Korean startup specializing in software supply chain security, has closed a Series B funding round worth approximately $9.67M (KRW 14.5 billion). The round drew participation from Shinhan Venture Investment, DS Asset Management, POSCO Investment, Stonebridge Ventures, Korea Asset Investment Securities, Tyche Investment, and Novorsec Investment. Of these, Shinhan Venture Investment and POSCO Investment joined as strategic investors.

The company has built what it describes as an end-to-end software supply chain security platform, anchored by a software composition analysis (SCA) solution. Its product suite includes Labrador SCM, an inter-enterprise SBOM exchange platform; Labrador ServerCare, a real-time vulnerability management solution for production servers; and Labrador LLM, an AI model purpose-built for software supply chain security tasks. Labrador LLM is notable for improving open-source license detection accuracy by more than 10% over conventional approaches.

Labrador Labs intends to put the fresh capital toward deepening its core technology, building out its team, and making a concerted push into North America.

“This Series B is a renewed validation from the market of our technology and growth potential,” said CEO Jinseok Kim. “We will deepen our core capabilities, bring in the best people, and lead the charge in building a secure software supply chain ecosystem where customers can innovate with confidence.”
