People&Technology Raises $10M in SI Bridge Round to Expand Real-Time Patient Monitoring Nationwide

People&Technology, a South Korean startup specializing in AI– and digital transformation-based smart hospital service platforms, has closed a $10M (KRW 15B) SI Bridge round with Dong-A ST participating as a strategic investor (SI). The company plans to accelerate its expansion in South Korea’s real-time patient monitoring market.

The round welcomed a broad group of new investors, including Wanted Lab Partners, Find Value Asset Management, Bokwang Investment, Cornerstone Investment, and IBK Capital. Existing shareholders Solidus Investment, Kiwoom Investment, and AJU IB Investment also made follow-on investments.

Through this round, Dong-A ST formalizes its relationship with People&Technology as a strategic partner, taking an equity stake to deepen a collaboration that began last year when the two companies started working together on real-time patient monitoring sales. Building on that foundation, they aim to accelerate growth in South Korea’s rapidly expanding smart hospital market.

“This investment is significant because it translates Dong-A ST’s commitment to the real-time patient monitoring business into a concrete strategic partnership,” said a representative of Dong-A ST. “By combining People&Technology’s smart hospital service platform — already deployed across thousands of beds at more top-tier general hospitals in Korea than any competitor — with Dong-A ST’s extensive medical network, we will drive the broader adoption of real-time patient monitoring and smart hospital services across the board.”

People&Technology posted revenue of approximately $8M (KRW 12B) in the previous fiscal year, representing 70% year-over-year growth. The company now plans to use the momentum from that growth and this large-scale SI investment to begin its journey toward an IPO in earnest.

“Successfully closing this $10M SI Bridge round, which includes a major strategic investor like Dong-A ST, validates the differentiated technology and future value of our platform in the capital markets,” said Seongpyo Hong, CEO of People&Technology. “We will push to hit $13.3M (KRW 20B) in revenue this year while accelerating the shift to a subscription-based revenue model — and we intend to complete our IPO next year and establish ourselves as the defining platform company for K-smart hospitals.”People&Technology delivers real-time patient monitoring services and digital smart hospital solutions to 85 healthcare institutions nationwide. Its client roster spans major tertiary hospitals — including Severance Hospital (Sinchon), Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, Korea University Anam Hospital, Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital, Chonnam National University Hospital, and Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital — as well as regional hospitals such as Yongin Severance Hospital, NHIS Ilsan Hospital, Gangdong Kyung Hee University Hospital, and others.
