INTERGRAVITY Raises $5.5M USD (KRW 8 Billion) in Pre-Series A Round

INTERGRAVITY, a South Korean deep tech startup focused on space infrastructure, has closed a pre-Series A funding round worth approximately $5.5M USD (KRW 8 billion).

The round was joined by Stonebridge Ventures, STIC Ventures, Company K Partners, dcamp, and KOTEC (Korea Technology Finance Corporation). Of particular note, the Korea Aerospace Administration’s (KAA) New Space Fund and AI Future Technology Fund both participated, signaling strong institutional confidence in the convergence of commercial space and AI technology.

Founded by veterans from leading space research institutions including the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), INTERGRAVITY is developing an orbital transfer platform designed to enable next-generation on-orbit services. In a rarity among startups, the company operates its own vacuum test facility, giving it a unique capability to validate core technologies in a simulated space environment and accelerate commercialization.

To address growing congestion in low Earth orbit (LEO), the company is focusing on autonomous Orbital Transfer Vehicle (OTV) operations that integrate physical AI and agentic AI, with the goal of reducing reliance on ground control systems. The company plans to validate key technologies — including its eco-friendly propulsion module and navigation systems — aboard South Korea’s fifth Nuri rocket (KSLV-II) launch in 2026, before commencing commercial services with its first orbital deployment via a SpaceX launch vehicle in Q1 2027.

With the proceeds from this round, INTERGRAVITY will advance development of its OTV and in-space manufacturing platform, and expand into the in-orbit operations services market.
