SOLIVIS Raises $13.7M Series C to Complete Second Factory and Advance Toward KOSDAQ IPO
SOLIVIS, a South Korean manufacturer of sulfide-based solid electrolytes for all-solid-state batteries, has closed a Series C funding round worth approximately $13.7 million (KRW 21 billion), bringing its total cumulative investment to roughly $41.1 million (KRW 63 billion).

Openwater Investment led the round as the returning lead investor, joined by a group of follow-on backers including Partners Investment, Samho Green Investment, Hana Securities, DS Investment Partners, and Wisdom Asset Management. Hana Ventures and TY Partners joined as new investors in the round.
Founded in 2020, SOLIVIS spent the period following its Series B — a $13.1 Million(KRW 20 billion) round closed in early 2024 — focused on establishing a mass production factory and validating four commercial models of solid electrolyte materials for all-solid-state batteries. That demonstrated market readiness helped win continued backing from its existing shareholders.
The company specializes in sulfide-based solid electrolytes and produces them using a proprietary third-generation wet-synthesis mass production platform, developed with over $6.5 Million(KRW 10 billion) in internal R&D investment. The platform enables the production of solid electrolytes with high ionic conductivity, a critical performance metric for next-generation battery applications.
Proceeds from the Series C will be directed toward building out an automation-based production infrastructure and completing construction of its second factory, with the aim of achieving the scalability and consistency required for commercial supply.
SOLIVIS has also begun formal IPO preparations after selecting an underwriter, with a listing on Korea’s KOSDAQ exchange targeted for 2027.
