AIT Studio Raises Pre-Series A Funding to Scale AI-Powered Gait Analysis into Global Markets
AIT Studio, a South Korean healthcare AI company specializing in gait analysis, has closed a Pre-Series A funding round led by Bluepoint Partners. The round was joined by East Gate Partners and MAGNA Investment. Bluepoint Partners participated through the “InBody Like Bluepoint” fund, co-established with InBody, a leading body composition analysis company. The investment amount was not disclosed. The round marks a significant milestone: just one year after its seed round, AIT Studio‘s valuation has more than doubled.

AIT Studio develops MEDISTEP, a computer vision-based medical device that delivers markerless gait analysis through an ordinary mobile camera. Without requiring any dedicated sensors or wearables, the system analyzes full-body joints and generates more than 40 gait indicators within one minute. Compared to traditional sensor-based motion capture equipment, MEDISTEP achieves over 90% cost reduction while maintaining approximately 95% accuracy.
Within a year of its commercial launch, MEDISTEP has been adopted by eight major university hospitals in South Korea — including Asan Medical Center in Seoul — establishing a solid clinical track record. The platform is also expanding into public health centers, welfare facilities, and senior fitness centers nationwide. Earlier this year, the company secured European CE-MDR certification, laying the groundwork for entry into five Asian markets. Leveraging its partnership with InBody, AIT Studio is also preparing to advance into Japan and North America. The company plans to broaden its technology scope beyond gait analysis to cover sarcopenia screening and fall risk assessment.
“In the clinical gait analysis market, there is a clear and growing demand for sarcopenia screening driven by an aging population — yet no standardized measurement tool has emerged,” said Jungsoo Park, Principal Analyst at Bluepoint Partners. “AIT Studio stood out as a compelling company that combines validated accuracy with real-world deployment across both university hospitals and public health centers.”
CEO Sinki Park of AIT Studio said the company would focus on “use suitability — or UX — in medical devices,” adding that its priority is to boost productivity on the clinical floor with a tool that is both reliable and easy to use.
