Bemyfriends Secures Strategic Investment From Japan’s AMUSE to Expand Fandom Business Into Japan
South Korean global fandom business startup bemyfriends has secured a strategic investment from AMUSE, a Japanese general entertainment company.

Through the investment, the two companies plan to combine their respective business capabilities and networks to launch fandom business operations in Japan and expand their global fandom business on multiple fronts.
Founded in 1978, AMUSE is a Japanese entertainment company that manages artists including Southern All Stars, Masaharu Fukuyama, Perfume, BABYMETAL, and Gen Hoshino, alongside film and broadcast production and live tour operations. The two companies decided to pursue the strategic investment and collaboration after finding strong alignment on the growth potential of the fandom business and the synergies it could create.
Bemyfriends and AMUSE also plan to cooperate on discovering new IP in the global market. Bemyfriends intends to position AMUSE as its preferred partner for clients entering the Japanese market, maximizing potential synergies.
Bemyfriends has been expanding its business through its Japanese subsidiary, operating more than 50 platforms in Japan alone. The company has built a robust fandom business ecosystem with more than 150 artists and IPs. With this investment, bemyfriends plans to strengthen its role beyond platform operations to support artists and IP across multiple dimensions of business growth, while solidifying partnerships spanning fan communities, content, live tours, and promotions throughout Japan and the broader global market.
Bemyfriends currently works with more than 1,200 artists and brand IPs worldwide, offering services that connect fan communities, memberships, commerce, and real-time communication across the fandom business. Through its acquisition of Dreamus Company, the company is accelerating synergy initiatives to build a full value chain for music IP, and it has established itself as a leader in global fandom business across entertainment, sports, and esports. Bemyfriends plans to continue expanding touchpoints between artists, IP, and fans worldwide, building on local partnerships in key global markets.
Kozue Kiyoyama, a director at AMUSE and CEO of AMUSE Entertainment Inc., the company’s Korean subsidiary, said, “We are paying close attention to the growth potential of the fandom business, which creates new value based on relationships with fans. We expect bemyfriends’ unparalleled global fandom business capabilities and experience to create new synergies when combined with AMUSE’s rich entertainment assets and global network.”
Woo-seok Seo, CEO of bemyfriends, said, “This investment is significant in that it recognizes bemyfriends’ business competitiveness and growth potential in the Japanese market. Building on close collaboration with AMUSE, we will continue to expand our local partnerships to widen the touchpoints between artists, IP, and fans, and to create new business opportunities.”
