Enterprise Software Implementation Platform June AI Raises $20 Million Pre-Seed
June AI, a startup automating the work required to implement and modernize enterprise software for the AI era, has emerged from stealth with $20 million in pre-seed funding.

TIME Ventures, founded by Salesforce co-founder Marc Benioff, led the investment. Strategic investors include Dell Technologies founder, chairman and CEO Michael Dell; VMware co-founder and former CEO Diane Greene; Box co-founder and CEO Aaron Levie; and CrowdStrike founder and CEO George Kurtz. SV Angel, Conviction Embed, Abstract, A*, Vesey Ventures and other firms also participated.
The size of the round is notable for a company only now unveiling its product.
Automating the Hardest Part of Enterprise AI Adoption
Buying enterprise software does not complete an implementation. Systems such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, Oracle and SAP must be configured around each company’s workflows, permissions and data structures, then integrated with existing infrastructure. This work often requires large consulting and systems-integration teams over long project cycles.
Generative AI faces the same obstacle. Even strong models struggle to create business value when data is fragmented across systems, workflows are complex and years of technical debt stand in the way.
June AI uses AI agents to automate the analysis, configuration, migration and deployment work traditionally performed by implementation teams. Its goal is not only to recommend changes, but to execute them and help organizations put new systems into production.
The platform begins with process mining, using system data and configurations to determine how a business actually operates. It then identifies technical debt and opportunities for improvement, migrates and reconfigures systems, and deploys AI solutions. June works within data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks while analyzing dependencies across the enterprise software connected to them.
“Oddly enough, AI has created more demand for professional services, not less,” said June AI co-founder and CEO Efrat Rapoport. “We don’t just recommend the changes, we implement, deploy and drive adoption of them.”
Bonobo AI Founding Team Reunites
June AI was founded by Efrat Rapoport, CEO; Idan Tsitiat, CTO; Barak Goldstein, president; and Ohad Hen, chief architect.
The four previously founded conversational intelligence startup Bonobo AI, which Salesforce acquired in 2019. They then spent about five years developing AI products inside Salesforce, where they saw that system configuration and data integration—not just model performance—were major barriers to enterprise AI adoption.
Competing in the AI Implementation Market
June AI’s competitive landscape extends beyond AI agent startups. It also includes consulting and systems-integration firms such as Accenture and Deloitte, along with enterprise software companies that operate their own professional services organizations.
ServiceNow has expanded into enterprise automation through its acquisition of Moveworks, while Salesforce supports the deployment and operation of enterprise agents through Agentforce 360. AI startups such as Serval automate IT support and system operations.
June’s distinction is its focus on understanding and changing configurations across multiple enterprise systems, creating the environment in which AI can be deployed. It is effectively attempting to turn the people-intensive forward-deployed engineering and systems-integration model into an agent-driven software product.
That approach also creates significant risk. Allowing AI to change core enterprise systems requires accuracy, controls and clear human oversight. June’s ability to automate work across highly customized customer environments without causing cascading errors will be central to its expansion.
