Inocras, a cancer genomics big data company, announced on August 4 that it has secured $31 million (approximately KRW 44.35 billion) through its Series B-3 funding round.

The amount exceeds the company’s initial target, bringing Inocras’s cumulative funding to $100 million.
Inocras is a precision cancer diagnostics company that analyzes whole-genome sequencing data from cancer patients using proprietary bioinformatics technology to provide information necessary for cancer diagnosis and treatment decisions. The company plans to deploy the new capital to expand its whole-genome-based precision cancer diagnostic solutions—already applied clinically in Korea, Hong Kong, and other Asian markets—into the U.S. hospital market.
The Series B-3 round drew new investors including IMM Investment, LoftyRock Investment, KOREA INVESTMENT & SECURITIES, Dt&Investment, Woori Investment & Securities, and Shinhan Securities. Existing investors DSC Investment, Dunamu&Partners, and Intervest also participated, alongside strategic investors NDS and Aimed Bio.
Inocras has built a track record by supplying whole-genome-based precision cancer diagnostic solutions to more than 100 specialized cancer care institutions across Asia, accumulating real-world patient case experience. The company’s flagship solutions include CancerVision, a precision diagnostic platform that predicts treatment response and proposes personalized therapy strategies based on the patient’s whole genome, and MRDVision, which detects minimal residual disease. Both solutions analyze gene variants and composite biomarkers across the cancer genome and convert them into clinically actionable information.
“Over the years, thousands of patient cases applying our technology at cancer care centers throughout Asia have yielded meaningful outcomes each year,” said CEO Seo Je-hee. “Our next goal is to bring that clinical experience to U.S. hospitals and establish whole-genome analysis—namely CancerVision and MRDVision—as the standard in cancer care. This funding gives us the resources to expand our clinical footprint in the United States, support hospital adoption, and build the infrastructure necessary to achieve that objective.”
The Series B-3 financing comes as Inocras’s whole-genome analysis approach continues to receive clinical and scientific validation. In collaboration with researchers at the Broad Institute, Inocras analyzed thousands of whole-genome datasets from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), demonstrating the feasibility of large-scale standardized whole-genome analysis and contributing to the broader adoption of genomic information in oncology.
Meanwhile, Predictive AI—a subsidiary Inocras acquired—was selected for Deep Tech TIPS, a program run by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS), in January of this year. Predictive AI is a startup with genomic analysis AI technology that complements Inocras’s bioinformatics capabilities.
In recent years, Korean precision medicine and genomics startups have attracted substantial investor attention. Several platforms focusing on liquid biopsy, multi-omics analysis, and AI-driven drug discovery have raised Series B or later rounds, underscoring the sector’s maturation and global competitiveness in BioHealth diagnostics and therapeutics.
