N.Light Raises $9.8M to Scale Physical AI Data Infrastructure for Manufacturing
N.Light, a South Korean Physical AI data company, announced on August 11 that it has closed a funding round of approximately $9.8 million (KRW 15 billion).

The round was led by the Korea Development Bank, with participation from existing investors Naver D2SF, IMM Investment, and Capstone Partners. NH Venture Investment, OurCrowd, and Stonebridge Ventures joined as new investors. Naver D2SF continues its partnership with N.Light, marking its third consecutive investment after the company’s pre-Series A in 2021 and Series A in 2022.
N.Light provides high-fidelity, simulation-ready 3D assets through TRINIX, its proprietary SimReady 3D asset generation solution. The platform enables manufacturing and industrial sites to bridge the Sim-to-Real Gap and generate large-scale synthetic data efficiently, addressing a critical bottleneck in robot training.
Securing large volumes of training data for robotics has long been constrained by the cost, speed, and quality inconsistency of real-world data collection methods such as teleoperation and motion capture. N.Light automates the generation of 3D data that precisely reflects physical properties including mass, friction, joint structures, and collision geometry. The platform integrates with NVIDIA’s Omniverse simulation environment, enabling high-quality synthetic data generation and evaluation at scale.
N.Light currently serves as a core data supplier for Physical AI projects at Hyundai Motor Company and LG Electronics, demonstrating proven commercial traction in industrial settings. The company also provides AI training data to humanoid robotics and robotic foundation model companies including Holiday Robotics, AROBOT, and RealWorld.
N.Light was co-founded by CEO Jin-young Park, who led 3D launcher development at Samsung Electronics, and CTO Seon-tae Kim, who led AI and 3D engine development at Naver and Samsung Electronics. In May 2026, the company was named a Physical AI Ecosystem Partner during NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote at GTC Taiwan, validating its unique SimReady 3D asset generation capabilities within the global AI ecosystem.
N.Light is actively expanding its global Physical AI ecosystem, including a partnership with Taiwan’s MetAI. In August 2025, the company was selected to participate in the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy’s K-Humanoid Alliance, joining the government-led humanoid robot ecosystem initiative.
“The key to the Physical AI era lies in how efficiently we can secure high-quality data that is immediately trainable in simulation environments,” said CEO Park. “With this investment, we will aggressively recruit top talent across all positions and establish ourselves as the leading Physical AI data infrastructure company trusted by industries worldwide.”
N.Light plans to use the new capital to accelerate development of its generative CAD engine and material property database, expand integration with Isaac Sim and Omniverse workflows, and drive global market expansion while securing technical talent.
South Korea’s Physical AI and robotics sector has seen active fundraising recently. SixSense, a tactile robotics data platform, raised $663K in pre-seed funding following Y Combinator selection, while Comfo Labs, an AI-powered product development platform, secured seed funding from Prodigy Investment.
