The Invention Lab, Dcamp, and Mulia Sky Capital Organize Mingle Day for Korean Startups in Jakarta

The Invention Lab, Dcamp, and Mulia Sky Capital will jointly organize a 3-day event in Jakarta, Indonesia from October 4-6, 2023. The event is called “Mingle Day for Korean Startups” and is aimed at helping Korean startups learn more about the Indonesian market and connect with Indonesian startups.
The event is designed to be more than just a demo day. Korean startup founders and C-level executives will have the opportunity to meet with local startup founders and C-level executives to discuss the localization possibilities for their business ideas. Top executives from local companies and VC firms will also participate to share insights on regulations and governance structures that Korean startups need to consider when entering the Indonesian market.
Choi Jae-yoo, the representative of Mulia Sky Capital, emphasized that the Indonesian market is one of the most challenging markets for startups to enter. He stressed that proper talent recruitment, governance structure establishment, and investment strategy formulation are essential for success in this market.
Kim Jin-young, the CEO of The Invention Lab, said that the Indonesian market is more suitable for startups to enter through joint ventures and localization than through independent market entry. He believes that this program will be of great help to Korean startup teams that are seriously considering entering the Indonesian market.
