Sirius Investment Supports Andrew Ng’s Landing AI in Manufacturing AI Solutions


Sirius Investment, a South Korean Venture Capital firm, has invested in ‘Landing AI,’ founded by Andrew Ng, renowned as one of the ‘Four Horsemen of World AI.’ 

Headquartered in Palo Alto, California, Landing AI is an AI startup established in 2017 by Andrew Ng, a Stanford University professor and co-founder of Coursera, a Nasdaq-listed education platform. 

Professor Andrew Ng, recognized as one of the world’s top four AI scholars alongside Geoffrey Hinton, Yann LeCun, and Yoshua Bengio, played a pivotal role in co-founding Google Brain, an AI research organization at Google. 

Specializing in providing an AI platform tailored for the manufacturing industry as a Software as a Service (SaaS), Landing AI currently offers solutions to companies of various sizes in the U.S., Europe, Japan, Taiwan, and Korea. 

Sirius Investment’s recent investment signals a commitment to accelerating investments in top-tier AI startups in Silicon Valley and supporting domestic deep tech startups planning to enter the U.S. 

In this funding round, Landing AI has raised a cumulative total of $77 million, with significant investments from global leaders such as Samsung Electronics, Intel Capital, Insight Partners, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), McRock Capital, and Andrew Ng’s AI Fund.
