SBVA announced on the 5th that it participated in a $46 million Series B funding round for You.com, an AI-powered search platform. The round was led by Canadian venture capital firm Georgian, with participation from SBVA, NVIDIA, Salesforce Ventures, and others. This brings You.com’s total funding to $95 million.

Founded in 2021 by renowned AI researchers Richard Socher and Bryan McCann, You.com is a U.S.-based startup that became the first in the world to integrate large language models (LLMs) into the search experience. Since its inception, the company has processed around 1 billion queries and has millions of active users.

You.com offers a highly personalized and advanced search experience with features such as “Research Assistant,” which analyzes multiple sources simultaneously to deliver accurate reports, and “Genius Assistant,” which solves problems and performs calculations through conversational prompts, without requiring users to input equations or formulas.

With this new funding, You.com plans to expand its reach in both the B2C (business-to-consumer) and B2B (business-to-business) markets, while diversifying its subscription models.
