Envisioning Partners Closes $37M Impact Fund, Prioritizing Climate Tech Growth

Envisioning Partners, a South Korea-based Impact Venture Capital firm, successfully closed its latest fund, the Envisioning Impact Solutions Fund, at 44 billion Korean won (approximately $37 million). The fund garnered investments from both global and local institutional and corporate investors, including Korea Growth Investment Corporation, Pavilion Capital in Singapore, Daesang Corp., Daesang Holdings, SeAH Steel, Kakao Impact Foundation, and The Asan Nanum Foundation.
The Envisioning Impact Solutions Fund is strategically positioned to accelerate investments in key impact areas, particularly within climate tech, leveraging Envisioning Partners’ accumulated expertise and network in this sector. The fund primarily envisions investing in Series A and beyond, actively supporting the growth of high-potential companies with follow-on investments.
Hyunjoo Je and Yong Hyun Kim, Managing Partners at Envisioning Partners, expressed, “We hope this fund will serve to accelerate the growth of startups that are addressing the urgent challenges of our time, even in the midst of a challenging economic environment. Leveraging our investment experience and network, especially in the climate tech space, we aim to assist high-potential companies in aggressively pursuing global growth opportunities.”
Envisioning Partners currently manages assets totaling 211 billion Korean won (approximately $177 million) and has invested around 117 billion Korean won (approximately $98 million) in 46 startups across Korea, the US, and Singapore. Notably, the firm has focused on climate tech investments, constituting approximately 60% of its total investments to date in both the Korean and US markets.
