Deeping Source Partners with Aix to Transform Japanese Retail with AI
Korean AI retail tech startup Deeping Source is accelerating its entry into the Japanese market through a strategic partnership with Aix, a Japanese company specializing in data-centric marketing solutions. Deeping Source offers the ‘Store Caring Solution’ (marketed as ‘Retail Care’ in Japan), which enhances store operations and boosts sales by analyzing customer behavior and store conditions through AI.

The ‘Store Caring Solution’ is designed to quickly resolve various operational challenges, ensuring customers enjoy the best possible shopping experience. The AI system continuously monitors the sales floor, immediately identifying and addressing issues such as empty shelves, disorganized displays, or untidy areas by alerting the relevant staff, thus fostering an appealing and pleasant store environment.
Aix, a global AI marketing firm, collaborates on data-driven, long-term growth marketing to facilitate the successful market entry of international startups. Recently, it was ranked among the top five in the AI marketing field by the UK’s ‘Business of Apps.’ Through this partnership, Deeping Source plans to leverage Aix’s extensive local network to actively promote and sell the ‘Store Caring Solution.’
Min Kyung-jun, CEO of Aix, expressed his optimism, stating, “Deeping Source’s ‘Store Caring Solution’ holds immense potential to revolutionize Japan’s traditional retail industry. Through our partnership, we aim to deliver top-notch AI solutions to the Japanese market and ensure an exceptional customer experience.”
Kim Tae-hoon, CEO of Deeping Source, added, “Japan is a key global market, and our alliance with Aix represents a crucial step in our international expansion efforts. We are committed to working closely together to expedite the digital transformation of the Japanese retail industry and provide customers with a more convenient and efficient shopping experience.”
