LOSH KOREA’s ‘ONEW’ Secures pre-Series A to Expand Senior Lifestyle Brand
LOSH KOREA, a Korean startup operating the senior lifestyle brand ‘ONEW,’ has secured a pre-Series A investment from Eugene Asset Management along with follow-up investments from existing investors CNTTECH and Newborn Ventures. LOSH KOREA launched ‘ONEW’ in 2022, a lifestyle brand designed for active seniors, offering leisure, hobbies, and community activities. They have steadily grown their customer base through more than 100 diverse content offerings each month.
The active senior market is experiencing structural growth due to aging and increasing net worth. However, spaces that support their cultural and leisure activities are hard to find, aside from cultural centers or welfare facilities. ‘ONEW’ aims to become a daily destination for active seniors by expanding offline hubs based on various programs.
With this investment, ‘ONEW’ plans to differentiate its online and offline operations. Online, they will revamp their website to enhance accessibility and convenience for seniors. Offline, they have secured an exclusive lease for a 300-pyeong (approximately 9,917 square feet) space, which will be developed into program classrooms, commercial facilities, community zones, and activity facilities. This will create a comprehensive playground for active seniors.
Jun-Yeop Hyun, CEO of LOSH KOREA, stated, “Our goal is to become the first brand that comes to mind when the active senior generation thinks of an interesting daily life,” adding, “We aim to deliver high satisfaction through various content based on the unique customer data that only ONEW possesses.”
