Grandeclip, led by Kim Bong-jin, former Chairman and founder of BAEMIN, has acquired STAYPOLIO, a curation platform specializing in premium accommodations known as “Fine Stay.” By purchasing 50% of STAYPOLIO’s shares, Grandeclip has become its largest shareholder.

STAYPOLIO has established itself by offering unique experiences and currently hosts over 500 properties, including its own managed Fine Stays. The platform has expanded its reach to include accommodations in Japan, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia, and continues to grow through B2B partnerships and collaborations with local governments.

Grandeclip, established by Kim Bong-jin, aims to transform seemingly trivial and ordinary things into meaningful and substantial ventures. The company has diversified its business portfolio with innovative projects such as ‘NewMix Coffee,’ a fresh take on mixed coffee, ‘What a Wonder,’ wearable paper toys, and the publication of ‘Magazine C,’ a documentary magazine about chairs.

STAYPOLIO, now a subsidiary of Grandeclip, is poised for significant growth with the addition of key members who contributed to BAEMIN’s success. The newly appointed CEO, Jang In-seong, is renowned for his branding expertise, having spearheaded BAEMIN’s creative initiatives and managed various brand campaigns for NAVER over the past 25 years.

The major shareholders of STAYPOLIO, including TBT Partners, IBX Partners, and QUAD Investment Management, have chosen to continue their support, reinforcing the platform’s growth.
