Revolutionizing Music IP Management: Naivy Secures Investment from RBW and KakaoBank

Naivy, a Korean music technology startup, has secured investments from entertainment giants RBW and KakaoBank. Founded in 2017, Naivy specializes in developing and providing solutions for the settlement, marketing, and production of music content. Its offerings include a music SaaS platform called ‘Plam.in’, which analyzes and supplies sales data for music IP, a social audio service, and ‘HREUM de salon’, a community-driven service for audio content creators.

The Plam.in platform features a dashboard that organizes and analyzes settlement data—previously managed in Excel— for music IP rights holders such as musicians and entertainment companies. It also displays monthly fees from adjacent rights, which accrue through the consumption of music IPs, and tracks copyright and performance rights fees.

HREUM, another service by Naivy, creates a live conversation space called Salon on its app and website, where users can participate in interactive, non-face-to-face radio broadcasts. These sessions are recorded, edited, and later published as podcasts. This service simplifies the creation and enjoyment of both ephemeral and permanent audio content.

Since 2018, Naivy has been involved in music production and distribution, investing in indie musician music IPs, and enhancing business operations. In May 2022, it received a pre-series A investment from Contents Technologies, the parent company of ‘Beyond Music‘, a music rights investment firm.
