Hifen, a South Korean startup providing the YouTube ad search and analysis service ‘Ugwanggi,’ has secured investment from TheVentures. Ugwanggi is an AI-driven platform designed to streamline ad search and analysis, addressing inefficiencies in traditional ad referencing processes.

Leveraging Generative AI (GenAI), Ugwanggi processes content analysis and data classification, delivering daily advertising and performance data from over 50,000 brands and 250,000 YouTube channels. With this tool, users can complete YouTube ad data collection and competitor analysis in just 10 minutes, reducing manual, repetitive tasks by over 90%. The platform also features an intuitive dashboard, offering a clear view of the analyzed data, thereby improving work efficiency.
Ugwanggi’s GenAI-powered analysis enables users to navigate the complex YouTube ad ecosystem with ease. It provides insights into competitor ads, sponsor details, and creators across various industries, allowing users to quickly analyze industry-specific trends and advertising strategies without the need for constant manual updates.
Additionally, the service enhances team communication by enabling reference data to be stored and managed at the team level. Currently, over 300 marketers, including those from leading domestic agencies like Marketing Moment, Eco Marketing, and PTKOREA, as well as major brands like Amore Pacific, Speakeasy Labs, and Clio, are using Ugwanggi.
Kim Cheol-woo, CEO of TheVentures, noted that the global advertising market on social platforms like YouTube exceeded KRW 290 trillion (around USD 216 billion) in 2022, stressing that social media data analysis is now essential for companies, marketers, and creators. He emphasized the significant growth potential of Hifen’s service.
Sejun Jang, CEO of Hifen, highlighted that companies previously had to dedicate substantial resources to gathering and filtering large volumes of data. He stated, “Our platform delivers maximum data analysis in minimal time, making Ugwanggi an indispensable tool for YouTube advertising.”
