Tebah Soft, a Korea-based company running “Seamspace,” a platform that supports adolescent mental health and school teachers’ guidance, announced that it has secured seed funding from Impact Square.
Tebah Soft is a startup that developed “Seamspace,” a tool using AI technology to offer social-emotional learning (SEL). In just five months after its launch, Seamspace gained 6,600 paying users. Notably, the platform analyzes students’ emotional states by extracting emotions from “mind journals” with 98% accuracy, as verified by a KOLAS-certified third-party test.
Seamspace also provides a dashboard for teachers, allowing them to monitor the psychological status of their class and conduct group analyses for better classroom management. This feature helps teachers understand students’ mental well-being in detail and provide appropriate support.
Impact Square, the impact investor, commented, “One in five Korean adolescents experiences mental disorders. Various IT solutions have emerged to address this issue, and Tebah Soft is expected to lead the market with its high user engagement and optimized technology.”
Moving forward, Tebah Soft plans to develop a digital mental health treatment tool based on journaling, allowing adolescents to record and analyze their mental health while receiving necessary guidance. Additionally, the company has already developed English versions of both the student and teacher platforms to expand internationally, targeting international schools in Korea and private schools in the U.S. Tebah Soft also aims to enhance its AI engine by adding features like chatbots, multimodal capabilities, and a proprietary small-scale LLM specialized in children’s emotion analysis.
Tebah Soft will make its first step onto the global stage by participating in the SOCAP (Social Capital Markets) 2024 global impact investment conference this October. It also plans to launch “Seamspace” in the U.S. market at CES 2025, marking the beginning of its global expansion.
Tebah Soft CEO Jungseob Oh stated, “With this investment, we will accelerate our technology development and market expansion to help more adolescents maintain healthy mental states as they grow.”
